2012 Bulldawg Brawl
The Mu Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity made a $1,000 donation to UGA HEROs during the annual Bulldawg Brawl charity boxing event, held Saturday at the Georgia Theatre.
The announcement was made by freshman Logan Duncan, who serves as President of Sigma Nu’s Candidate Class. He was joined on stage by fellow Candidates Noah Anderson and Joseph Brittain, both of whom participated in the amateur fight night.
“It was an honor to represent Mu Chapter and support a worthy cause like UGA HEROs,” said Duncan. “We were there to support not only Noah and Joseph, but also the thousands of children affected by HIV/AIDS in Georgia.”
“Our brothers are committed to serving the community whenever possible,” said Sigma Nu President Wells Ellenberg. “This was a prime opportunity to extend a helping hand to those in need.”
This year, the Bulldawg Brawl raised $12,000 for UGA HEROs, a non-profit, student-run organization dedicated to providing quality of life care to the over 12,000 children affected by HIV/AIDS in Georgia. For more information, please visit their website: www.ugaheros.org.
